[email protected] this weekend then. I've been wanting to hit up Prey. Cant get enough of White Lotus and Sunset Room....Might have to round up the kids and see who's down for this weekend

how should i say this... SUNSET ROOM SUCKS!!! i hate that place, especially after i went there last year on a friday night that was coincidentally promoted by GLAMLA. basically the bartenders there try to rip off and take advantage of people if you don't pay attention. i stayed til closing and when i went to go close out my tab, the assbag tried to bill me for double what actually owed them. i was like WTF? i was no where to being drunk and totally remembered all the drinks i ordered. i had to argue with the fool for almost 20mins to clear things up and that was pretty embarassing. so i sign off my tab with zero tip and that was not the end of it.

once i get my credit card bill i noticed they charged my card for $10 over what i signed for. i couldn't believe they did that. i called my credit card company to dispute and they told me contact the merchant. i get a hold of one of the peons at sunset room who gives me the name and number of one of the owners/managers. it didn't surprised me that even after numerous messages, they never returned my call. now thats what you call professionalism and service.

i don't care how cool of a venue it is, service there is horrible. i hope this hasn't or will not happen to anyone else.

hmm. sorry to hear iokepa that you didn't have the best of times @ the club-- which is too bad... unfortunately i don't have any control over bartenders so i apologize for your misfortunate occurance-- i'm sure it happens to the best of us, especially when they think we're drunk and too stupid to figure out that we've been overcharged... that's why cash is king. :)

but hopefully for those who come out this weekend- look for me, or email me with names/ and let me know you're from AZ. and when you get there say hello!!

ps: as for my car... um, next week... we'll see her facelift!! :)

Sunset room is nice. It was very cool the times i've gone. Prey is nice too especially since they remodeled it. I like the decor.

I try to pay with cash too when at clubs. easier to sort out. Although i did give someone a 20 instead of a 10 once. but that was at santa monica pier. ;-p stupid lemonades

if you haven't checked out Prey, GO!

same thing happened to be at a different place, they charged me $10 more. Eh well, i was too lazy to do anything about it, but it happened to my friend at JOYA this past saturday but they cleared it right up

Sandra and I were talking about Prey....I think all of us need to go check it out one weekend.
After the testomonials about Tabs it makes me not want to open tabs. I try to use cash more now too.....I get a little carried away when I have a tab open. I end up buying drinks for people after I get a little tipsy "Yo Bartender, put my friend's drink on my tab it's under Kerrie" hehehehe

I had a tab opened once, it was time to go, by this time i was so wasted I couldnt make out how much the bill was and I tried to sign my name but umm that didnt work out too well it was a bunch of scribbles, i couldnt even put a tip down so I told the bartender if you can put down 10 bucks tip for me cause Im f'in drunk. I lucked out she didnt overcharge me and didnt take a tip.
