I discovered this button today while cleaning my car.. it is useless but can be pressed inwards so it can be functional.
It is the last button in the picture. what could it be for?

lol im sure its not "hidden" considering that its right by the gas tank button, but there is probably an option that you dont have or is only available on the v6's.

Whats the second from the bottom button's function?

Thats to lessen the sensitivity of the car's alarm when the car is going to be towed or moved in a ferry so that the alarm doesn't go off...

That's the ultra-high speed button there on the bottom. Kind of like the special key in the Veyron...

It's just a blank. Like on the MK2 VW's.

Probably cheaper for Audi to make 2 two button switches then design and make a 3 button switch as well as a two button.

The blank one is for the interior motion detector which american cars don't have because most european car makers don't think it's necessary for us. The one above it is to deactivate the tow alarm incase you have to get towed or the car will be moved.

the interior motion detector button is located in the rear ash tray isn't it?

I'm pretty positive the 2nd from the bottom disables the motion sensor in the alarm only.
I was told by my dealer (and tried it out) that if you press it when the car is off (and it lights up) there will be no motion detector in case you want to leave your dog or 9 month old baby inside the car for a while. We don't have a shock sensor, but we do have an interior motion sensor and this button temporarily disables it.

the second from bottom in mine is for someone trying to jack you car like in ny. It sets the alarm off in the car is being moved ect....it will shut down the car and lock it up from being towed until you unlock it with your key.

So if I parked illegally and was towed, my alarm would go crazy? How does it lock it up from being towed? Does it put the brakes on or something?

Its my understanding that this button does the same thing as it does on just about every other brand. It desensitizes the alarm, shutting off motion and tilt functions so if the car is towed, dog inside, etc, the alarm wont go off, but the alarm will still sound if door opened, ignition started, etc. I don't see any way that the car could "lock up" and prevent someone from towing it.

As you can see just by looking at the illustration on the button (a car with the front end tilted up), the button disables (or at least reduces the sensitivity of) the car's tilt sensor for towing. As far as I know, when the tilt sensor is enabled, the car's alarm will activate if someone attempts to tow it. I'm pretty sure the car does not "shut down and lock up from being towed." BTW, the alarm on our cars is pitiful, so don't feel great about the tilt sensor. Hit your panic button to see what I mean.

Read your manual and it tells you what the second from the bottom does.

There is no motion sensor on US spec cars for some reason, I have even sat in my car while the alarm was on and tried to set it off and no go. So don't worry about leaving your dog in the car. The button is for the tow alarm which pretty much sounds the alarm if the vehicle is lifted or towed.
BTW the door lock button is there because I guess Audi thinks there are lots of car jackers in the US or something because Euro-Spec cars don't have all the door lock buttons.

The above is what my salesman said the button was for. If you crash, or the car dies and needs to be towed, this allows you to set the alarm but have it not set off by the tilting from the tow truck.

I don't think that is the case, let me share my theory on the rear seat door lock button. Imagine you're a young child sitting in the back seat of the car and your mom or dad needs to run into the store to buy some crack and they forget to lock the door while you're in the car, then some creepy looking guy is walking your way and you think he's gonna kidnap you, and you hit the lock button and honk the horn then your crackhead dad or mom comes out to save you. instead of having to reach into the front of the car like the old days, audi saves your life. Duh.
