Just wanted to drop in and say hi to all of you. We are the SoCal Chapter of ACNA. I know some of you are already ACNA members and have participated in our events this year. We cover almost all of SoCal from San Diego up to Ventura County.

We conduct all types of events, such as our popular drives and TechFests. In fact, we co-sponsored the SoCal Euro GTG in Santa Barbara this past spring. I invite you all to check out our website: http://www.sccaudi.com/

This coming Saturday, August 14th @ 11:00am, we will be having our Progressive Drive & Pacific Audi Techfest (http://sccaudi.com/articles.asp?id=91) (click for details).

It all begins at Pacific Audi in Torrance where you'll get a chance to preview all the new models including the redesigned A6. Also there will be an opportunity to speak with Audi Master Techs to discuss Audi performance issues. Complimentary lunch buffet and coffee bar provided.

From there, we will all depart from Pacific Audi and the drive commences. The Drive will follow the coast up Pacific Coast Highway into Malibu. Then the Progressive Drive will twist through the famous Malibu canyons and into Woodland Hills to our final destination - the Village Coffee Roaster, for some fine pastries and lattes. Enjoy a relaxing mid-afternoon as our host, Dusty Troyan of the Village Coffee Roaster, has prepared magnificent desserts and coffees just for SCC Audi owners. A nice a way to unwind after all those curves and hairpins of Malibu Canyon.

We recommend that everyone RSVP as a courtesy to our hosts - Pacific Audi and Tom Sinanian and the Village Coffee Roaster. However, all SCC members and guests can attend up to the day of the event. We welcome new Audi owners and those interested in joining SCC as well.

That sounds pretty fun. Hopefully 5-0 doesn't get ticket happy with a bunch of Audis rolling up the coast. [;)] Who else is down?

Man that does sound fun!! Once I take possession of the S4 I will love to do that. For now though, I trying to keep the A4 under 100K before I sell it, and that just wouldnt help! [:D]

I'm a regular attendee of the SCCAudi club drives, and these drives are a blast. Most of the members are well-seasoned drivers. Meaning they've been to numerous driving schools and can drive their Asses off. It’s a lot of fun to test your skills with these guys and gals, not to mention the general knowledge and camaraderie the members have.

Unfortunately, I will be officiating in a basketball tournament is San Diego this weekend so I will miss it. However, I will definitely be at the September 18 Ojai drive... I encourage you all to join in (Check the Link)...

that is something we have discussed and hope to offer in the near future. but for now, we recommend either RacerFactory.com or the ACNA driving schools such as the events organized by the NorCal chapter. i believe there is a 2 day school at Sears Point/Infineon Raceway in Sonoma on November 15 & 16. cost is $395 for ACNA members

Well folks, our event this past Saturday was another fun and successful gathering for all the SoCal people who made it. Another great turn out, with a diverse group of people and cars, ranging from an RS6 to the usual stock and modified A4s and S4s (old and new), to a few TT, A6s, and even cabs.

Check out our site for the complete set of pics:
