"Down on the river by the sugar plant" by Mike Doughty, sounds gay but quite possibly one of the coolest songs with the dopest beats ever.

What's a beat without bass?
SKID mark youre from WA and you bump E-40?? WOW people actually listen to bay area slap outside of the bay?? haha props on that my man....
The music usually depends on the mood, but its usually some mac dre, and some andre nickatina - jungle (the beat is so raw)

bay area hyphy movement is retarded. literally. i mean i know the idea is to "go dumb" but its actually stupid.
metro-system of a down
stop go- the biz
zero-smashing pumpkins
supermassive black hole-muse
sex n money- oakenfold
get me off- fatboy slim
doe boy fresh- three 6 mafia
come and go-50 cent
fortune faded- red hot chili peppers
Yes you got that right we go stupid and dumb out here in the bay!! haha jk but honestly you guys have some type of misleading idea about the "hyphy" movement. To us, its not about the music but the entire lifestyle that is a part of it. And hey, everyone gotta rep their own area right? You cannot take away the fact that every song has a catchy beat to it....like seriously...

Ja Rule? Chamillionare ? Sean Kingston??
Cmon, we got so much better music in the bay!
I got 2 12's, but I think its too much for the type of music I listen too. I like the real hip hop with the underground feel to it. Music where you actually appreciate the harmony and can truly respect the lyrics. Tribe called quest, Zion I, living legends just to name a few.

The reason why I listed these songs is because they have mad beat. The bass for Ja Rule's "My Body" hits hard even on my Bose speakers, and same goes for "Doin That". If you wanna knock the music I listen to, listen to it first. Bay area music is so overrated IMO. The Hyphy Movement is dying out slowly and so is the music. I listen to Keak da Sneak, E-40, Zion-I and others too, but to be honest, they havent come out with any hot tracks lately. And before I start a dispute about what determines a track "hot" I mean tracks that have gotten radio play.

I'm really into hip hop and car audio as well. Depends on what sub and enclosure setup you have (dictates how low it can go and where it's loudest), but here's some stuff that I love to bump (in order of priority somewhat) :
Outkast- the whole ATliens and Aquemeni albums are just sick. Standout bumping songs though, Rosa parks, Atliens, Spottieottiedopaliscious, Skew it on the Bar-b, Wheels of steel, Two dope boys in a cadillac, theres alot more too
For kindof the rolling constant bass TI- Whatcha know about that and Snoop- What's my name?
Beastie boys hello nasty CD has some serious bass, a killer song is Shame in your Game
One song that has killer low low bass is a Master P song called pass me the green I think (it's like #17 on an old CD and goes "pass me the green I need some weed with my hennesey". I'm not really a big fan otherwise)
The Roots- Do you want more- do it!;)
Dave Matthews band- Two step
311-Flowing
Bob Marley-Natural Mystic
Rage Against the Machine- Bullet in the head
Good old Eminem- My name is
Gravediggaz- 1-800 suicide
Talib Kweli- Move Somethin
My latest one that I've listened to for the past 2 weekends straight
Kanye West- Stronger (gold digger bumps too)
Lots of 36 Mafia (late night tip is a classic for the car audio crowd) and Lil John bumps
