I just got one of this month's bathroom reading, and it stated the JGTC (Japanese Grand Touring Championship I believe) will be holding an event on December 18 and 19th at the California Speedway in Fontana. There are supposed to be a number of various events, including drift events and the ability to be taken for laps on Sunday (19th) [description of events: http://www.jgtcusa.net/gtlive_event.html]

If you are unfamiliar with this series, it is a 2 division series in Japan (likened to Nascar here in the states, but really more like the Speed World Challenge) that's run on a road course using modified production cars. So, it is a bunch of Skylines, Supras, RX7's, NSX's, MR2's, S2000's (as well as some Porsches, Corvettes and a Viper last time I watched it) battling it out. Pretty cool IMO.

Here is more info. Tickets are $35 for a day & $50 for both days: http://www.jgtcusa.net/home.html

Here is the main JGTC website: http://www.jgtc.net/index_en.htm

Any one else interested? Any one want to caravan???

check out this thread http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=14468

i already talked to JGTCUSA about the club VIP parking and put AZ as one of the crew to be there, this is a first come first served group package, so the earlier we register more likely we get to park in the VIP lot with lotsa benefits .... i think i'll pass this on to mr. audizine himself (Anthony) to coordinate with JGTCUSA to get AZ registered, get his a$$ to work!
