It seems like we never have a GTG nobody wants to make time and meet everyone. NorCal has meets almost everyday and I want to put text to face. Ive been on AZ since November of 2003 and Ive probably only met like 20 people on AZ which out of those 20 19 were very cool. Im sure other people want to meet others also lets put our heads together and have like a bbq on like a sunday when everyone is probably free. Everyone put in like $5 to buy food and drinks and just have fun. The only prob I can think of is an agreement of a park or something in between LA count and San Diego County. let me know

Sounds like a good idea. I have never met anyone in person from AZ. I'm am down if its in SD. There are tons of places for a GTG around the beach area.

we got weekly GTG's in San Diego ;)
we usually turn up 20-30 VW/Audi's weekly
but setting up next Big SoCal Euro GTG ... our last one Nov 22nd had 600 cars ;)
but if you wanna setup a GTG im in !! provided i can make the trip from SD
im down. I believe there is a big socal GTG/drive sometime in july in tustin or something, but socal/oc definately needs to start some sort of weekly thing. I know the guys over at socaleuro alternate GTG's between orange and mission viejo every week.

well i used to set these up and it just got a bit overwhelming and time time was a commodity. But you know the last big one i did was at Irvine Regional Park (by Irvine Lake) and that was a fun day as the weather and the turn out, not to big and def not too small... (a lot of euros) was great...positive vibe.
Now that we're in the summer months...a bon fire at Bolsa Chica or in Corona Del Mar would be a swank idea...chill during the day and at night bon fire.

I'm down, i try to get to as many GTG's as i can. For me its a way to learn and get idea's, and meet some chill people. European GTG's are way better then rice rocket GTG's, because the class of people is much better with our crowd.
(i used to have an 02 civic that was hooked up, way to many ghetto people at any of the events)

well if it's more of an OC/SD meet then corona del mar would be a better location...as the neighborhood is nice there and they appreciate nice cars [;)]

Corona del Mar State Beach is a popular place for swimmers. The half-mile long sandy beach framed by cliffs and a rock jetty that forms the east entrance to Newport Harbor. The beach is also popular with surfers and divers.
Location – Directions
The beach can be reached via an access road near the intersection of Iris Street and Ocean Boulevard in Corona del Mar.

dont mind the red star but the green area is where you want to be...i think during the day there's a parking fee as it is a state beach so dont get caught off guard!

Foo I'm not positive but are you sure there is spots for bonfires like there is in HB? I remember being on the opposite side of the bay(breaker point) and only seeing one huge bonfire on that shore line. Saw the same thing a couple nights in a row, not individual scattered bonfires but just one really huge fire. Anyway I may be wrong.

i was there last year and they had spots of fire pits spread out on that beach...i'll cruise by there this weekend and verify and get exact streets to turn on etc

Hungover at 3-4 p.m. dayum partyman!
PCH to Marguerite Avenue (signal), landmark=Banderas restaurant. Make a right at Ocean and follow the hill down to Breakers. I think State parking is $5 or at 4 you may find a spot for free on Ocean and "hike" down, if you have to carry a lot it will be a pita, worth it to pay the $.

No prob! Trying to avoid you having to "drop by" on a Fourth of July weekend. Sorry, parking is now $6, but they do have plenty of pits toward the north (jetty) end.
There should be some pits available around 3-4 on a Sunday, but if someone is going early, maybe they could "reserve" one, by placing their chairs, wood, etc...
Peace!

There is no need to turn this thread into an arguement thank you!!! [:D] There have been to many this past week on AZ.
Back on topic....I think we should move it up a week or 2 so that the people who are attending HID will be able to make it aswell.
